Hello Campus Application Developers,


Here is the SIS Integrations team weekly summary of items of interest to our integration partners.

System Outage: Sunday, April 17th from 7a.m. - 9 a.m.

This Sunday, April 17, SIS Project GoLive 5.2 will be released to production. This adds significant functionality and enhancements in the areas of Class Schedule, Courses and Enrollment.


As part of the work required, there will be a brief system outage from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m on Sunday 4/17. During this time, all production versions of the SIS APIs will be unavailable.  Once the system comes back up, you can expect normal operations.

Enrollment Appointments Begin Monday, April 18th

Beginning Monday April 18th and continuing through July, students will be enrolling in Fall 2016 classes using new functionality in CalCentral and SIS.  In order to allow as much capacity as possible for the expected spike in student enrollment activity during the first week, we are asking API users to refrain from making high volume API requests during peak hours of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The SIS Project Team will be monitoring system performance closely throughout the week and looking for opportunities to tune system performance for API users.
