June 9, 2016: Integration Announcement

Hello Campus Application Developers,

Here is the SIS Integrations team weekly summary of items of interest to our integration partners.

Go Live 5.5 - Successful!

Go Live 5.5 went into Production on Sunday 6/6. See the Release Notes below for a summary of changes to SIS APIs.

API Usage Notes/FAQs

  • Last week, SIS began the matriculation process which transfers admitted students who have SIR’d from SIS Admissions to SIS Student Records. This process is the last step before a student can enroll in classes.  Approximately 10,000 students have been matriculated to date and the process will occur in batches throughout the summer. After matriculation, these records are no longer accessible from the Admissions API but become accessible from the Student API.

  • While SIS EDOs define some data that is classified as restricted, actual values for these fields are not released by the API unless authorization is provided by the data steward.  Examples of these data elements include social security number and date of birth. When an EDO is returned to a caller without authorization, the API replaces the data value with asterisks.
