Hello Campus Application Developers,
Here is the SIS Integrations team weekly summary of items of interest to our integration partners.
Decision Day - 3/24/16
We are in full support mode for today’s release of admission decisions for the incoming Class of 2020. This year, decision emails will be sent directly out of SIS Slate, the new undergraduate admissions module. Onboarding activities formerly managed through myBerkeleyApp will be handled by SIS Campus Solutions. There is a command center set up here at the SIS office at 2850 Telegraph this afternoon to coordinate the release with functional and technical teams and make contingency decisions as necessary. As students SIR and begin their onboarding, the SIS Student API will be surfacing basic data for new students and this data will expand as these students onboard, matriculate and become eligible to enroll in classes.
by 3/28 - Course/Class APIs will be in API Central UAT
by 4/1 - The next release of the Student API will be in UAT. This version includes:
“collections” where the API can return certain sets students based on predefined criteria. This release will provide international students, and affiliations such as “SIR students”
by 4/11 - Enrollment API and Terms API will be in API Central UAT. (Terms API provides access to the academic calendar managed by the Office of the Registrar.) The Student API Registration endpoint will be enhanced to provide a term-id search request
