Meeting Outcomes:

  • Main focus this week has been in the below areas:
    • Addressing production issues (service now tickets, bugs, t-calc updates, TPC support) now that tuition and fees for all students enrolled in units have been assessed in BCSPRD.
    • Planning for upcoming tasks (CARS Open Balance Conversion, Collections, SF configuration for Summer 2017 prep, etc.)
    • Generate official monthly statement on 9/1/16 (2nd one in new system)
    • Generate credit card refunds

Advising Team Weekly Update

Decisions:

  • The appointment tool will be made inaccessible to students effective Monday, August 29th, due to the seriousness of bugs that surfaced this week.  The Advising Card feature flag in CalCentral will be turned off, and the old bHive advising card feature flag turned on, allowing students in the College of Letters and Science to make appointments in the legacy system.

  • Prioritizing enhancements and Dev work for new admissions cycle
  • Doaa and Laurel uncovered missing requirements for UCOP’s Spring Roll Over
    • ALL Spring admits get a new CPID from UCOP
    • Implementing a new Deferrals and Other Exceptions spreadsheet from which all modules can track coding changes for individual students

    • Refunds: ran a mini file of cash refunds. Once aid disburses on 8/15 a larger refund run will occur.
